Fraktion - Revolutionizing Real-World Asset Tokenization
At Functori, we acted as CTO as a Service for Fraktion, supporting the venture from its earliest stages. We led the full technical development, including the design and architecture of the platform, and provided continuous strategic support, from fundraising preparation to business development.
Fraktion was co-founded in 2022 by Vincent Pastor — ex-cofounder of Duffle, acquired by Benchmark Capital — Jonathan Cornea, formerly at real estate group Atland, and Gweltaz Le Coz, with a background in IoT. This rare blend of expertise — in startups, real estate, and connected technologies — made Fraktion a uniquely positioned team. Together with Functori’s technical leadership, they launched a robust platform to make real estate investment accessible to all.
Together, we redefined how traditional assets can be managed, helping B2B partners launch smooth, compliant investment experiences — and opening the door to a more transparent and accessible financial future.
GOAT Stadium – Opening Fan Ownership in Professional Sports
GOAT Stadium was launched with a bold ambition: democratize fan investment in professional sports. As technical co-founders, Functori provided CTO as a Service, leading the platform’s design, development, and architecture, while also supporting regulatory strategy and helping structure the project’s blockchain infrastructure and compliance.
GOAT Stadium is building the first platform dedicated to buying and selling fractionalized, regulated financial assets tied to sports clubs. It enables fans to invest securely and transparently in their favorite teams — through blockchain technology, AMF-regulated securities, and accessible investment tools.
The venture was co-founded by Soufyane Mokhtari (CEO), Jean-François Mena (COO), and Gérard Héquet (CSO), combining expertise in entrepreneurship, operations, and finance. With their leadership and Functori’s technical execution, GOAT Stadium bridges the gap between elite sports and community ownership.
Mosaic Labs – Composing the Next Generation of DeFi Infrastructure
Mosaic Labs was born from the ambition to push the boundaries of decentralized finance by building high-performance, composable infrastructure for tomorrow’s DeFi protocols. As a founding technical partner, Functori led the product architecture, developed critical smart contract systems, and contributed to the overall design and strategy of the platform.
Focused on DeFi infrastructure, trading systems, and on-chain analytics, Mosaic Labs blends deep protocol expertise with practical execution. Our collaboration helped lay the foundations for a platform that enables developers and institutions to build and operate in a more efficient, transparent, and programmable financial ecosystem.
